AMIPA can provide in-house film and video transfers from your 8mm, 16mm and Super16mm film, and between the following video formats: VHS, S-VHS, Umatic, 1" Type C, and BetacamSP.

8mm/Super 8mm: $50 $70
16mm: $60 $80

Film transfers are billed by the quarter-hour; tape stock is extra. Price is based on job duration, not footage length, due to varying conditions of archival footage. Transfers take approximately 3 times the running time of the film, e.g. a 5-minute film clip takes about 15 minutes to transfer.
Examples:
1 - 25' 8mm roll = 4.5 minutes actual film time, or approximately 15 minutes to transfer.
1 - 400' 16mm roll = 11 minutes actual film time, or approximately 30 minutes to transfer.
